What is OPC KidsCare?

We know how difficult COVID-19 has been for parents and students. School closures and reduced hours have been hard to navigate - especially for working parents. As a church, we feel compelled by our faith and love in Jesus to help those most impacted by the pandemic. We love our community and want to see every student, parent, and family thrive just as God intends.

So in response, OPC has created OPC KidsCare - a free childcare program for 3rd-8th grade students.  OPC KidsCare will provide a safe place for children to learn on their non-school days. Students will be placed into learning cohorts. We will match the ABAB scheduling currently offered by the school district (8:30am-12:30pm) and provide a place for your child on their “off” days not at school. Priority is given to those most in need such as full-time working parents and single parents.  We hope this will give parents more stable schedules and some much needed childcare relief.
